Circus In Schools:
Workshops, classes, term programs and partnerships
CirQuest Circus School are industry leaders in the provision of excellent schools projects and programs, ranging from once-off workshops perfect for rewards and incentives, to term programs for class groups or whole schools, with or without performance outcomes. We love to work with teachers on linking our programs to cross-curriculum topics Of course, all our highly-trained and professional instructors have current Working With Children Checks, hold current First Aid certification, and we are insured against public liability and professional indemnity.

School workshop visits
CirQuest can come to your school for a once-off workshop, regular classes for a term, or for a half or full day with as many class groups as you like! We can work with up to 30 students at a time with one instructor, which will provide students with an opportunity to try a range of manipulations skills including hula hoops, spinning plates, flower sticks and poi. With two instructors to a classroom group, we can offer skills which require a little more 1:1 focussed instruction, such as juggling, diabolo, and basic acrobatics. When we have a student:instructor ratio of less than 10:1, we can include skills such as stiltwalking, unicycle and rola-bola, and where venue logistics allow, we can even teach more advanced acrobatics, mini-trampoline, aerials (trapeze, silks, rope and lyra), tightwire, slackrope, and walking globe, although these higher-level skills require transportation of equipment and rigging which are not included in our standard workshop fees.
School excursions
CirQuest can host your school at our beautifully-equipped HQ in Burswood for a once-off workshop, or regular classes for a term. As with our school visits, we can work with up to 30 students at a time with one instructor, but the lower the student:instructor ratio, the more skills we can include. A one-teacher workshop with a class will provide students with an opportunity to try a range of manipulations skills including hula hoops, spinning plates, flower sticks and poi. With two instructors to a classroom group, we can offer skills which require a little more 1:1 focussed instruction, such as juggling, diabolo, and basic acrobatics. When we have a student:instructor ratio of less than 10:1, we can include skills such as stiltwalking, unicycle, rola-bola, advanced acrobatics, trampoline, aerials (trapeze, silks, rope and lyra), and walking globe.
Fees start from $300 for a workshop with one instructor.

CirQuest can also provide performances for schools, and show + workshop packages, so that students can watch a show and then have a go at the skills they have seen performed.

CirQuest can also provide circus workshops on a regular schedule at your school, such as weekly for a term. We can develop performance outcomes with your teachers and students over the term as well.
