CirQuest kids' classes

CirQuest kids are confident, collaborative and creative!  You'll love the unique balance of structure and freedom in our classes.  Kids develop social problem-solving and communication skills while learning acrobatics, trapeze, trampolining, juggling, stiltwalking, unicycle and much much more.  Our dedicated teachers are trained and mentored by our director, occupational therapist Isobel Lyall, to provide the just-right challenge each child needs for focused, independent, motivated learning, and to discover their unique role in our growing circus family.

Term 2 2025 starts April 28.

Book before the end of term 1 to get the Early Bird discount!

Our booking process is flexible and easy to use!  There are two booking and payment options:

Term fees: This is the cheapest way to pay. You'll save 10% when you book for the whole term (discounts are automaticially applied at checkout).

Drop-in bookings are available in classes where there are any vacancies, so you can try a class before you decide if it's the perfect one for you. Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance, so that we can plan our lessons to suit the size of the class and meet each individual student's needs. You don't need to contact us to check if there are vacancies, if there are none you won't be able to book in (but you can join a waiting list so we can notify you if our capacity changes).

Week 1 Special: If you come as a drop-in booking durig the first week of term (Feb 10-16), and after the class let us know that you loved it, we can book you in for the remainder of term and save your spot. You'll just pay the balance of the term fee.

What if you miss a class? If you're booked in for the term, you can just come to another class any time during the term to make up the class you missed. If you book as a drop-in, you can cancel your booking at least 24 hours before, and receive the fees back as a credit in our booking system, or you can change your booking to another date or even another type of class that has capacity.

Does your child have higher support needs?

Sensational Circus is our program that provides children with individualised supports to develop the skills, experiences and relationships they need to achieve their goals - not just in circus, but in life!

Our very own OT, Isobel Lyall, combines her extensive circus experience with evidence-based therapeutic strategies from a wide range of different theoretical perspectives, to deliver occupational therapy using the circus as a setting, and as a meaningful therapeutic activity.

Sensational Circus sessions can be 1:1, in groups, parallel with classes, and integrated into circus classes.

Performance troupe (by invitation only)

CirQuest's Performing Troupe meet weekly to develop group acts and roving performance skills, which they perform at our in-house productions as well as community events and festivals.  In February 2020 our troupe produced and performed their own original work, CirQuesTV, in the Fringeworld Festival.  We can't wait to see what else they have in store for us this year!

Performance troupe participation is by invitation only and participants must be enrolled in another class for the term.  If you would like to join the performing troupe, have a chat to your teacher.
